Welcome to the Makani Isles, where paradise was never meant to last.
Abandoned by Canada and the US during the 1918 Spanish Flu pandemic, the Makani Isles defied the odds, thriving in isolation for two decades. When the world finally turned its gaze back to them, the islands had become a self-sufficient, modern, and fully sovereign nation, a nation both the US and Canada sought to control. To avoid war that would devastate all three nations, they signed the Declaration of Sovereignty, ensuring the Makani Isles would remain independent.
Today, the Makani Isles stand as a beacon of what is possible when innovation and tradition collide. A place where modern technology and ancestral wisdom intertwine to create something truly unique. Yet, beneath the paradise, a web of secrets lies. Tensions simmer, whispers of espionage grow louder, and unseen forces threaten the balance.
The isles are watching. Will you be their protector, their disruptor, or the one to uncover the truth?

After the bombs fell, nothing was the same.
A single apocalypse turned into three when tensions erupted into a nuclear war that destroyed Earth’s magical balance and opened portals to an alien ocean realm. A flooded Earth grappled with eldritch abominations, nuclear fallout, and magic storms that shattered mountains and raised swarms of undead.
Now in 2325, New Seattle is a shining beacon of magitech sitting on the edge of the largest portal into the watery abyss. Skyscrapers levitate up into the sky and plunge below the waters, and magitech mechs defend the city’s ward-augmented walls from the waterlogged zombies and eldritch kaiju attacking it.
But the city is plagued by the basest scourge of all: humanity. Politicians squabble and crime lords vie for control of magically enhanced drugs, with everyone else stuck in the middle as monsters scrabble at the city’s gates and lurk beneath the waves. Will New Seattle be able to rise up to a better tomorrow, or will it be dragged down beneath the deluge?
