Magic Guide
Rules of Magic
- All mages join Avestral at Level 1.
- Please see our EXP Guide for earning how to redeem levels for your mage.
- Besides EXP, mages may level up with a Level+ Token earned from events.
- Players may interpret these levels as they see fit based on the magic their character has. A level 1 character will not be able to decimate a structure with a fireball for example. Staff will review levels for mages and may reach out to request changes on a case-by-case basis.
- Players may create any magic they wish, and any lore that surrounds any school of magic their character uses.
- Characters who reach Levels 25-30 are considered veteran mages and are often well-known throughout Avestral.
- Ascended level milestones will be chosen by the staff, and will act as quests for your mage.
- Players may continue to play Legendary status mages, or they may retire them once they reach that status.
- Legendary characters may accomplish supernatural feats, players will request an ability for their mage and staff will approve its use. These abilities will have limits such as can be used once per day, etc...
- These rules are subject to change/adjust to better fit the flow of the game as it progresses.
