10/16/2025 – The SWP prompts are now up, you can check out the Expeditions by going to this thread that's tracking the arcs/threads involved. We also have some new lore drops in the Faction Lore! 10/14/2025 – The spring seasonal events have wrapped up with the defeat of one mage, and the disappearance of another. Stay tuned for our autumn themed events coming up! With that out of the way, we also have two new incentives for members to participate in. Go check them out here
09/22/2025 – September & October prompts are now up! We're unofficially calling this the "Reyoarfjall Event", for two whole months you can get your tokens on! Stay tuned for more SWP related items this month!
08/21/2025 – August prompts have been updated for people to participate in. We have a new faction and region to explore in Avestral called Reyoarfjall. Go check it out! We will also shortly be wrapping up some spring events as the season has changed to Summer!
07/21/2025 – July prompts have been updated, June prompts that were posted before July 18th may still collect EXP if they are an open thread with no reply. This applies to both characters! Our Seasonal Events and first official thread of the new SWP are both available to reply to until August 5th. The site has also undergone some new additions, and more changes are on the way! We have 2 new skins now! Lupine and Strife with at least one other new skin on the way.
06/18/2025 – June prompts have been updated a little late, but they're available until July 18th to complete! That being said we have a SWP thread in full swing and will be continuing our seasonal events until July 8th. We have a new guidebook page for Common Knowledge that will be a historical archive of other unveilings on the site.
05/06/2025 – Our May prompts are now up to date! Spring has also arrived with a flurry of Coral Blossom Festivals strewn across Avestral. Stay tuned for our next SWP and small festival events cropping up around the site.
03/11/2025 – March prompts are up and ready for members to participate in! The Valentines event is still ongoing
02/11/2025 – Chasms in the Sky is here to stay! It is the next iteration in a ever-building SWP! That being said that existing SWP that was region specific will be wrapping up. Next, make sure to check out our two new monthly prompts!
01/13/2025 – Our first ever Craftmas and Advent Calender have concluded! We'll be sure to see these events again next year. Now with the holidays out of the way, the SWP and random events will be going strong. Stay tuned for future events and goodies in the next coming months!

10/19/2024 – The 2nd Arc of our SWP is in full swing with Arc 3 quickly approaching. Our guide book has also been updated to include some new permanent NPCs that characters can interact with.
05/02/2024 – Avestral is hosting its first ever SWP. You can find information here
04/18/2024 – We are now running on the latest version of MyBB. The site should continue to function as intended, but please contact the admin if you see anything amiss. Avestral's EXP automation system is now active and in addtion to this we've finished up the store! Check it out here
03/22/2024 – Avestral is now considered open! We're going to adapt as the game progresses. Staff positions are open, please message the admin on site or on discord for information!
10/15/2023 – Magic and Skill EXP requirements to progress to the next level have been updated. New tables for information have been updated.
09/14/2023 – Avestral's custom skin has been completely finished by c.widow. Please report any bugs or issues you encounter in our discord #ask-staff channel!

09/22/2025 – The Forgekeeper of Reyoarfjall, Nontuk has revealed themselves and willing to provide guidance and information to the travlers to the risen territory. They are magically obscured so nobody really knows their true appearance.
08/21/2025 – There are reports of all sorts of shadowy monsters cropping up all over Avestral.
November & December Prompts:
Lore Drop – Now that Hroarforge has been around for some time, the rumor mill is back at work. This time, the rumors are talking about the curse of Reyoarfjall. Write a thread with your character seeking out the Wytch of the Wilds in the Niverval Isles to get more information about this curse. (1 Reyoarfjall Token + 50 EXP)
Expand – Create another location within Reyoarfjall and submit it on our discord in the #new-region-event channel. At the end of December, we’ll take a vote for which region will become the next location within Reyoarfjall - 2 Reyoarfjall Tokens (2 Reyoarfjall Tokens)
How'd you get there –Write an individual thread with your character encountering a strange event related to another character they’ve already met IC. Think that they met a doppleganger of that character they know (1 Reyoarfjall Token +80 EXP)
