07/21/2025 – July prompts have been updated, June prompts that were posted before July 18th may still collect EXP if they are an open thread with no reply. This applies to both characters! Our Seasonal Events and first official thread of the new SWP are both available to reply to until August 5th. The site has also undergone some new additions, and more changes are on the way! We have 2 new skins now! Lupine and Strife with at least one other new skin on the way.
06/18/2025 – June prompts have been updated a little late, but they're available until July 18th to complete! That being said we have a SWP thread in full swing and will be continuing our seasonal events until July 8th. We have a new guidebook page for Common Knowledge that will be a historical archive of other unveilings on the site.
05/06/2025 – Our May prompts are now up to date! Spring has also arrived with a flurry of Coral Blossom Festivals strewn across Avestral. Stay tuned for our next SWP and small festival events cropping up around the site.
03/11/2025 – March prompts are up and ready for members to participate in! The Valentines event is still ongoing
02/11/2025 – Chasms in the Sky is here to stay! It is the next iteration in a ever-building SWP! That being said that existing SWP that was region specific will be wrapping up. Next, make sure to check out our two new monthly prompts!
01/13/2025 – Our first ever Craftmas and Advent Calender have concluded! We'll be sure to see these events again next year. Now with the holidays out of the way, the SWP and random events will be going strong. Stay tuned for future events and goodies in the next coming months!

10/19/2024 – The 2nd Arc of our SWP is in full swing with Arc 3 quickly approaching. Our guide book has also been updated to include some new permanent NPCs that characters can interact with.
05/02/2024 – Avestral is hosting its first ever SWP. You can find information here
04/18/2024 – We are now running on the latest version of MyBB. The site should continue to function as intended, but please contact the admin if you see anything amiss. Avestral's EXP automation system is now active and in addtion to this we've finished up the store! Check it out here
03/22/2024 – Avestral is now considered open! We're going to adapt as the game progresses. Staff positions are open, please message the admin on site or on discord for information!
10/15/2023 – Magic and Skill EXP requirements to progress to the next level have been updated. New tables for information have been updated.

07/21/2025 – There is a massive disturbance in the water that disrupts inhabitants of both Lumeria and the Midlands. There seems to be something floating in the distance. It can be seen from the shores of the Nifithid, and it casts shadows over the already dark Nepturei Abyss. At first glance it appears to be a wall of ice. Many mistake it for a glacier.

06/18/2025 – The persistent chasm in the sky has forced the leaders of the three kingdoms to call a meeting on the beaches of the Midlands. Tensions are high.
06/18/2025 – Rumors of a a great secret has begun to echo across all of Avestral. Many are saying that the secret can be found in the Nepturei Abyss.
06/18/2025 – A mysterious shift in the Caelestis Horizon has been noticed. Many are flocking to the region to investigate the changes.
July Prompts:
The Myth, The Legend – The Myth, The Legend - Your character stumbles upon a strange location in the Niverval Isles that seems completely untouched. While this is not difficult to understand given the nature of the floating islands, this seems more unusual. There are creatures here your character has never seen before in Avestral. They have never felt such power. Write a thread with at least two posts with your character discovering this location and the creatures within. (Mythical Companion)
Rot – Characters who venture too deep into the Histerec woods will see time change in strange ways. The trees and structures seem to melt into a thick, sticky ichor. The closer to the rift in the midlands they get, the more common this becomes. The inky stains don’t seem to come out, and those who are stained seem to develop personality changes. It is indeterminate if the ink can be removed at this time. Write a thread with 3 characters and 2 posts each with this prompt. (150 EXP)
Discomfort – Your character travels to a kingdom that they do not hail from, and encounters someone who disdains them. Whether this is an NPC, another character, or otherwise. Please write 1 thread with at least 1 post with your character experiencing this. (50 EXP)
