Beneath New Orleans’ charm, an invisible war rages. Vampires, fae, werewolves, witches, demons, and angels battle for control of the city where the Veil — the barrier between the human and supernatural realms — is weakest. The fae guard the ley lines, vampires hunger for dominance, and werewolves defend their swamps as witches, angels, and demons play their own dangerous games. Old alliances fracture, and centuries of tension near the breaking point. In a city built on magic and blood, one spark could expose the supernatural to humanity— or ignite a war that consumes both worlds.
