This is a guest friendly board where you can post an advertisement for your site. We accept advertisements for resource boards/discord servers, role play games, and similar but we will absolutely delete anything that has nothing to do with play-by-post rpg.

  2. All advertisement content (imagery, text, etc.) must be PG-13, else it will be removed and the posting IP address banned permanently.

  3. If the site being advertised has an age requirement to join you must include that age in the title/subject.

Welcome to Spirit Meets The Bones, we are a an original midwest gothic/supernatural site that is influenced by modern media and literature with themes ranging from magic and mystery, folklore, legends, cults, ley lines, liminal planes, dark acadamia and everything in-between.

Set in the fictional Larkins Hollow, Michigan nestled along the shore of Lake Superior in the upper peninsula, surrounded by state forests, lakes, and rivers, the perfect place for these creatures to hide. There is a rich and mysterious history that has resulted in generations of stories that are ingrained in the town. Some stories are more common than others, and some have had liberties taken with them as they were passed around over the decades. From howls in the woods to unexplained mysteries and disappearances, that have remained unsolved all of these years. There are always those that know more than what they are saying, or could guess at it, and there are those who would rather just let sleeping dogs lie staying oblivious to what doesn't concern them.

Just remember Lake Superior doesn't give up her dead...

As the plot and characters develop on the site we expect the lore and landscape of the site to twist and morph with all of the ideas of the staff and members who come to play.
