Welcome to The Last Island, a post apocalyptic survival site. It's 2050 and the world has been almost fully submerged in water due to Global warming and natural disasters.

On TLI, we foster friendship first and foremost, randomly assigning characters together for lookout or scavenging duty so that no-one feels they’re not a part of the site or story. We have a relaxed atmosphere with no activity checks, only sweeps every three months. Our discord is friendly and cosy and we accept and invite members (and characters) from all walks of life. Home || History || Our Canon || Availability In the year 2525 After Landing, explorers in the Southern Continent unearthed the Artificial Intelligence Voice Address System left behind by their ancestors. The machine was dust-clogged and damaged but did not shut down without offering what little it could in the fight against Thread. First, it provided a preserved retrovirus, designed to strengthen dragons for their unending war. Secondly, it opened its technology database; the designs given were not at the level abandoned by the colonists, but certainly better than the archaic methods left to the Pernese at the time.

Soon, improved dragons and steam power spread across Pern. In the following Interval, the Southern Continent was resettled, built with boiler-fed machines and supported by clockwork contraptions. Social reform followed, bringing back the equality known during the Landing years.

Pern is different now, but one constant has remained the same: the Red Star still orbits Rukbat, and it is currently on a drop course. Soon, the Dragonriders of Pern will be tested again, this time with stronger dragons and better technology. Still, Thread doesn't care that there's been an industrial revolution, all its writhing filaments crave is the carbon-based molecules of all life.

The year is now 2757 and Pern's newest Weyr, Aore, is taking a brief respite before returning to the ever-present drills and patrols required to prepare. The clock is ticking until the Red Star is spotted in the Eye Rock, heralding the start of the Tenth Pass.

What We Offer:
  • Pern in the midst of an industrial revolution, where Steampunk reigns.
  • Mutation colors for all dragonkin, with each getting their own unique set.
  • No stigma or limitations for any gender identity or sexual orientation.
  • Many open ranks are available with the normal application process removed.
  • Adoptable dragonets and wherlets with history rooted in Aore.
Current Events:
  • The Spring 2756 Gather is currently underway! Traders from all around Pern have come to enjoy Southern's early crop while bringing Nothern's bountiful harvests.
  • We have both an Advertising Contest and a Copper Contest open for the next few weeks!

Enchanting Love is a plot-focused Omegaverse forum in an AU world where male and female characters have a secondary gender that classifies them as Alphas, Betas, Omegas, or Unknowns. Male Omegas in this genre can also become pregnant just as Omega and Beta females. Alpha females are the only ones that cannot reproduce unless genetics states otherwise for them. We don't exclude female characters or Betas as we find an appropriate ratio of characters to plot with makes more sense when these two things are present.

Canon characters from animes are allowed (there are exceptions we don't allow but ask to be sure), and Original characters are definitely welcome! We encourage everyone at Enchanting Love to plot with one another. The genre may focus on shipping and intimacy, but we do value our members' comfort. Consent and plot is a must! The two games a year would signify the two failed attempts to send us back into the darkness from before Panem rose, one that we do not wish to return to.
